St. Martin's volunteers' days 2006

As a way of enhancing community involvement in addressing the needs of its vulnerable groups of people, St.Martin’s works with a network of about 1,200 community volunteers drawn from the different communities in the St. Martin’s target area.

These community volunteers play a very crucial role in the work of St. Martin CSA. They do much of the implementing work with the beneficiaries on behalf of the programmes.

St. Martin CSA recognizes that the success of the work of the volunteers highly depends on their motivation.
In order to remain motivated, the volunteers need to feel they are a part of the St.Martin CSA family and proud to be members. They need to intensify their identity with the organization, have time to reflect on their calling, share their experiences and promote the spirit of volunteerism among all community members. Thus community volunteers come together annually to celebrate their experiences. This year’s celebrations will be held in 7 different Parishes of the Diocese of Nyahururu.
