( case study)The story of Nancy Nancy was born with cerebral palsy, making her physically and mentally challenged. Her mother, feeling ashamed to expose her, always hid her in the house. The life of Nancy changed when she was discovered by a St. Martin volunteer, who counselled the family and made them positively accept this child. Nancy was taken to the physiotherapy clinic, where through exercises she learned how to stand by herself and walk. Nancy has now enrolled in the local nursery school, where she enjoys the company of children.
