We are glad to share the exciting highlights of the recently concluded Youth Skills Development and Empowerment Project. This groundbreaking initiative, a collaboration between St. Martin CSA and the County Government of Laikipia, marked a historic milestone in our journey towards fostering innovation, achievement, and impactful partnerships.

The event showcased the remarkable talents and skills of over 15 exhibitors, representing both Laikipia County Vocational Training Centers and private institutions. The diverse range of skills on display at our Expo truly exemplified the rich tapestry of talent within our community.

Our primary objective with this joint project is to enhance the capacity of the County's VTCs to attract and produce graduates who possess the innovative skills and capabilities demanded by the current labour market. We take immense pride in announcing that 390 graduates emerged from this program, equipped with expertise in various fields such as Building Technology and Motor Vehicle Mechanics. These skilled individuals are now ready to embark on promising careers, contributing to the growth and development of our society.

To further support the next generation of skilled professionals, we provided cutting-edge equipment to Nyahururu and Rumuruti VTCs. From state-of-the-art motor vehicle diagnosis machines to advanced computerized sewing machines, these tools will empower our graduates to excel in their respective fields.

In addition to these remarkable achievements, we also celebrated the formalization of our partnership with the County Government of Laikipia by signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU). This signifies our shared commitment to working hand-in-hand for the betterment of our youth and community, ensuring a brighter future for all.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to all the stakeholders who played a vital role in the planning and execution of this successful event. We would like to express our special thanks to Linda Ojuka, the Comundo County Director's representative, for her invaluable contribution to the success of this transformative initiative.

With this project, we have taken a significant step towards empowering our youth, fostering innovation, and building a prosperous future. We look forward to continuing our efforts in creating more opportunities for skills development and empowerment in the years to come.
