The Awakening Suppressed Voices project, is dedicated to empowering marginalized women and girls, reducing inequality, and fostering gender equality among all. We seek to create transformed communities where women and girls are not only free from all forms of violence but also empowered to claim their rights and pursue their own aspirations.
- Transformed Communities: Our vision is to create communities where women and girls thrive, free from the chains of violence. Through our interventions, we strive to empower them to break barriers, challenge societal norms, and pave the way for a more equitable and inclusive society.
- Strengthening Community Capacity: We believe that change starts from within. To address the causes and impact of gender-based violence (GBV), CPPR conducts comprehensive capacity building sessions for social actors. By equipping communities with the knowledge and tools to combat GBV, we lay the foundation for a safer and more supportive environment.
- Quality Care and Support: We understand the importance of providing comprehensive care and support to women, girls, and survivors of GBV. Our program ensures that they have access to quality services, ranging from social empowerment initiatives to psychosocial and economic support. Together, we create a network of strength and resilience.
- Social and Cultural Interventions: Our holistic approach goes beyond individual empowerment. We work hand in hand with communities to challenge social norms and promote gender equality. By fostering inclusive dialogues, advocating for policy changes, and embracing cultural transformations, we ignite sustainable change at its core.
Together, we can break the chains of inequality, amplify the voices of the marginalized, and create a world where every woman and girl is empowered to shine. Let's build transformed communities that celebrate diversity, protect human rights, and unleash the full potential of women and girls.
